Beyond the greenery of Burapha Golf and Resort lies a truly unique learning destination: International School Eastern Seaboard (ISE). We recently spent the day on-site to see firsthand how this 'Global Village' is redefining international education in the Eastern Seaboard.
As the only American International School in the Eastern Seaboard, ISE offers a distinct learning environment that combines a US-based curriculum with the global prestige of the IB Diploma Programme. With a vibrant student body composed of approx 70% international students (from across Asia, America, and Europe) and 30% Thai students, ISE is a true melting pot of cultures and perspectives.
A Collaborative Beginning
Our visit didn’t start with a lecture; it started with a handshake. We kicked off our morning by introducing the Edukatory team and our mission to the ISE leadership team: Emily Cave (Head of School), Saint Lily Aung (Admissions & Marketing Manager), and Krid Yoovithaya (General Manager). This led directly into a hands-on demo of our product, where we explored how a collaboration between our platform and their admissions team could help both parties grow.
Following our introduction, the ISE team provided a fascinating overview of the school’s DNA. We learned that their community is a vibrant "global village," with a mix of international and Thai students, all supported by a highly qualified faculty of specialist and IB-qualified teachers.
From Early Years to the Big Stage: The Campus Tour
After our collaborative session, we headed out to see the campus in action. Our tour followed the student journey from the ground up:
Early Years & Primary: We began at the Early Years facilities, observing how the school fosters curiosity in its youngest learners, before moving through the Primary and Secondary wings. The small class sizes were a standout feature, ensuring personalized attention at every grade level.
Student Life & Wellness: We visited the cafeteria and recreational facilities, seeing firsthand the resort-like, peaceful environment that surrounds the students.
A Hub for the Arts: The tour concluded with a deep dive into ISE’s creative heart. We explored the Theater Room and the specialized Art facilities. A key highlight for our team was learning how ISE supports its students by hosting professional art exhibitions, giving young artists a real-world platform to showcase their talent.
Connecting the Dots: Visibility with Intent
